S&P Global: Russia's Services PMI falls to 55.4 in September
MOSCOW, Oct 4 (PRIME) -- Russia's seasonally adjusted Services Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) decreased to 55.4 in September from 57.6 in August, above the 50 no-change mark, which means an overall expansion, research agency S&P Global said on Wednesday.
“The Purchasing Managers' Index totaled 55.4 in September, down markedly from 57.6 in August. The output of service sector firms increased for the eighth consecutive month, at a faster than average pace. Higher activity levels are often associated with a further increase in the number of new businesses and a sustained improvement in demand conditions,” the researchers said.
